Guys from Aarhus University in Denmark (led by Dr Thomas Poulsen) had made a simple yet quite ingenious ‘exercise in a pill’:

1. A precursor to lactate and beta-hydroxybutyrate which are elevated after exercise
    
2. It’s orally available, easy to synthesize (lactate and BHB bonded)
    
3. Novo Nordisk (the guys behind Ozempic epidemic) had already funded this research
    
4. (2) and (3) lead me to believe it will enter the market quite soon, as [Mmimetika Biosciences](https://mmimetika.com/) or under the NNordisk brand..
